Sodexo began its operations in Malaysia in 1999 through the acquisition of Gardner Merchant, a UK-based catering company. Over the years Sodexo Malaysia has been predominantly involved in the food, facilities management, technical and soft services (cleaning) sectors serving an array of renowned clients from diverse industries.


With a change in regional focus our goal is to grow a strong Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) Business, drawing on the experience of all sections of our global resources. At present Sodexo has approximately 500 employees in Malaysia operating in 26 sites made up of a diverse range of market segments including Corporate Services, Education, Health Care and Energy and Resources.

Sodexo Malaysia works very closely with its Asia Pacific counterparts to ensure that the very best practices, resources and people are available to all our customers in this region. With the support of our international network, as well as our strong presence and experience in the Asia Pacific region, Sodexo Malaysia is ideally placed to become the leading provider of Integrated Facilities Management services in Malaysia.   Through our perseverance and commitment to exceptional quality, hygiene and food safety standards, we have established the Sodexo brand as the market leader in Malaysia.
